Samsung AF Slim Zoom

I posted the images below as a comment to my last film thread. @JimFox asked if I could start a new post since it's likely to be seen my more folks.

Part of my film journey is the discovery of point and shoot cameras with decent optics. Some of the 'cult' cameras out there are way over priced to me. The challenge is to find a quality film P&S that is appropriately priced. In a film forum, I was introduced to the Samsung AF Slim Zoom. It comes with the a 35-70mm zoom lens which is a sweet spot for good optics in a zoom lens.

This lens has not yet reached cult status. I got this camera for $20 on ebay and it takes great photos.

Film: Cinestill 50D

I don't think I heard of that P&S camera. It looks like it takes great images! The Cinestill 50D has a really sweet look.

Does the camera have any exposure control. As I had mentioned to you, my recent rolls of film suffered from me underexposing them.

I can't pick a favorite, with the old film tone to these with what you chose to capture, it looks like these are 50 year old prints of something from 50 years ago

The camera does not have any exposure control . . . which can be nice. It does have a snap mode which pre-focuses to something like 6 feet allowing to take photos fast. I have another film camera that also seems to under expose. But once scanned and put through some post processing, I can bring them up to where they should be.
