Seascapes on the way to IKEA

A quick trip to buy some furniture on Monday but stopped by the coast as the weather looked promising. The wind at about 20mph onshore and have just recovered from a storm over the weekend with winds gusting over 90mph so the sea should be disturbed. I arrived about an hour after high tide so safer falling tide although some of the waves were much larger than normal but I was standing behind large rocks to keep safe. In the end a few splashes were all that happened. I could see better compositions but they were too risky to try.

This is St Mary's lighthouse a long exposure to make the clouds streak

A short walk to the North and a scramble down some small cliffs brings me here

I love what you did with your shutter speed choices in all of these. Hard to pick a favorite but I really like the feeling of motion in the second image. Neat way to spice up a shopping trip.

What a great detour! I wish I could detour to something as nice as this.

You got some sweet images. #1 and 4 are my favorites.
