Sedona

After seeing the fine work that Doug, Guy and Bob are doing on the Sedona Travel Guides in the Travel forum I went perusing through some of my old Sedona shots. These two are from Red Rock Crossing, a vertical and a Horizontal as I liked how they each brought something different to the table.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Easy to see how this got it's name :D

I like the vertical orientation for this as it lends a sense of isolation for the nice red crossing stones and highlights the colors.

Yeah, typically I prefer landscape orientation for, well, landscapes; but this vertical is perfect. The stones not only cross the creek, they take us across and deep into the image.

Nice job, Jim. Every time there is a flood these get wiped out and each time they get wiped out someone puts them back so this is a unique image.

Thanks Alan, I do like the vertical for how it leads the viewer in also.
