Signs of Spring

From last week while the sun was shining and I could almost walk around in my backyard. It has been raining off and on ever since so at this point parts of my backyard are pretty much a swamp right now. Since the first of Dec. I have measured over 22" of rain at my house and we have reached a point where nothing soaks in any more.

You guys are known for your constant rain up there, so if your ground is saturated with water, then you know you guys have really had too much rain.

Thanks Jim - normally I don't mind the rain but this has been an odd year with fewer sun breaks than what we are used to. I can see bulbs blooming in our backyard out the window. And birds bathing in the pools of standing water on the ground.

I hear you about the weather so far this winter. It has been wetter and greyer than normal.

We are going to get another week of cold temps and mixed rain/snowflakes.
