Hello fellow photographers
I'm not very active in photography these days. Preparing our next Arizona trip with the LQ and Fay our horse. Suzie and me are doing a lot of driving practice with the new rig. Also we have to plan the road, the food. the border,s vet, etc...

I could see where some practice driving that rig would be in order. Getting fuel on your journey to AZ is going to take careful planning with that trailer. How long is that setup?

Hey Rick,

Thanks for the update! I was about to write you to see where you have been.

So the horse is in the back, and then there is a living area for you guys in front? How big is the living area? It would be interesting to see some interior photos when you have time too.

I bet, there is a lot to plan for this trip, and a lot to get used to. Are you going to drive down during fall colors? That could make for a beautiful drive if you could time it right.

Not sure how much you can do for side trips pulling a trailer like this one. Trying to use my little 25' RV for general purpose sightseeing was so much of a problem I sold it off and that was tiny compared to being 53' long out on the roads. You can't just pull over for photos.

Question for Rick - are there restrictions as to where you can camp along the way down to AZ with horses in the back or is this another case for hitting up the truck stops?

Yeah, I was thinking that would make it pretty hard. But there is the potential to drive south through some beautiful fall color locations if timed right. But I agree, one isn't just going to do spur of the moment side trips to sight see pulling a 53' trailer!

I think 53' is from the front of his truck to the end of the trailer but some tractor/trailer rigs aren't much different than that. Still nice to get a view of fall colors along the way. Down in the climate zone around Phoenix fall doesn't happen until around Thanksgiving.

Hello Jim. The living space goes from the first window(right on the picture) to the awning end. it's called a 13 feet wall living because it do not include the bed part. More pics to come. Pictures to come.
As for stopping on the road, well we un hook the trailer and visit in pick up
