Spotting Todays Sun

After a night of Astrophotography out at Joshua Tree National Park last night, I kept my Seestar S50 up running long enough to capture the morning sun. It has a lot of sun spots on it right now.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Yeah, it's been super active lately. Lot's of Northern Lights activity the last 3 or 4 days.

Thanks!

SeeStar would seem to be a real natural for this type of imaging. Someone needs to figure out how to get an active Hα attachment onto that thing!

Thanks Mike.

Someone has done that, and there is no easy way to do it. It's essentially pulling the innards of a Lunt telescope and you add it between the camera and the lens and then of it after then lens. It worked, but sadly there is no simple way. I wish there was.
