Storm Moving toward Cottonwood Pass

Last fall we were coming back from Crested Butte by way of Taylor Park and Cottonwood Pass. We had driven through several rain squals and found clear skies at the summit of Cottonwood Pass. We grabbed a few shots before the rain hit again, and it did very hard all the way down Buena Vista!

I don't see anyone down by that little pond, usually when I am there, someone is always hanging out down there. So it's great you got it without any people.

I have photographed this exact same view it's very photogenic. I like how you captured the storm.

There was one guy down there taking a leak and left the area before I took the shot.

I have been over Cottonwood Pass numerous times, several times when it was a dirt road on the west side and part way down the east side. It is paved all the way from top to bottom on both sides now.
