Nice image, Alan. This is one of my favorite outcrops of the Chinle Formation.

Very nice Alan. I love driving by those Buttes especially when they are crowned with some nice clouds like these.

Al, I know that spot. Fascinating and beauteous. Well done. A mormon bishop drove by in a pickup truck one day when Dave Fantle, Yermo and I were shooting there, and he was most willing to join us when we offered bottle of suds. Who's to know? And we re-enacted the "Canon shoot-out" on the "street" of the old Paria movie set, decorating it with tumble weed. That was just a month or so before it was burned down.
