The first signs of Autumn

No! not the geese flying South. This area is general and the coastal salt marshes in particular is a favourite over wintering area for wildfowl despite being further North than Newfoundland. It is the first hint of yellow in the trees. Ken

Looks nice. I have spotted some yellows around my area lately as well. Seems a bit early in my area - is this normal fall color progression for the area shown above?

Definitely not, peak colour is usually the first week in November not the last week in August. Image 10Nov last year

Interesting - your usual colors peak around the same time as ours. On the optimistic side maybe we will get a longer color season
