The Mystery of Bryce Canyon

There was supposed to be on and off snow in Bryce Canyon yesterday, so I heard there from Arches NP. It ended up with the snow being more On then Off. but that was great as it made for some cool conditions.

This is from Sunrise point just before sunset as the Hoodoos disappeared.

Captured with my iPhone 15 Pro Max so I could post while on the road.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

I like the mood of the place with the snow conditions.

Good thing you stayed up on the rim - the mud on those trails is like a mix of cement and glue. Your shoes will weigh about 10lbs each after 4 or 5 steps.

Thanks Alan!

Actually I did walk down on the trail from the Sunset side going on the Navajo Loop trail. They seem to have worked on the trails since the last time I tried them in wet conditions as I got some red clay on my boots, but nothing really bad. So that's quite the improvement from years ago.

Nice moody image. Good use of negative space at the top.
Thanks Jameel! I had taken 2 images of this, one had more negative space at the top and one didn't. I ended up liking this one with the more negative space the best.
