Continuing my theme on dark nebulae:
This image contains (amongst other things) Barnard 150 (LDN1082), also known as The Seahorse Nebula.
These dark nebulae are becoming a firm favourite of mine, and Cepheus if full of them. Next up will be The Scorpion Nebula (LDN1147).

That's so cool Andy! I have heard of this one, but I don't think I have seen it captured so well before.

Any idea how many Dark Nebula's there are? They sure do look interesting, and would make for a good project.

That's very nice! What Bortle was this taken in? I'm in a 5+ and would like to have a go at LDN's but not sure if it's even worth it.

Thanks Jim. There are around 1800! Not sure how many of those are suitable for us mere mortals to shoot though. I have attached the LDN catalogue, which was kindly produced by a FB group I belong to called UK Cloud Magnets.

Already commented on on AB - but seriously one of the absolute best I have seen of this object! Just magnificent!
