The Slopes Above Paradise

From a late September visit to the slopes and meadows above Paradise Inn at Mt. Rainier National Park. The day started out with smoky skies but I was initially shooting waterfalls and didn't really care. After I was done with the falls I could see that winds had picked up from the west and the skies were clearing out. You can still see some of the smoke down low in the background just in front of the Tatoosh Mountains.

Thanks Jameel - it was almost hard to believe how drastically the views changed over the course of the day with the smoke in the morning and completely overcast by the time you got up there.
