The View to the North

While I was looking for sunset color a few nights back I scanned up the Columbia River Valley to the north of where I live. Colors had vanished in the west but the skies over the river valley in the distance were offering up a show I wasn't seeing from my area so I switched to a telephoto lens and grabbed this 3 shot panorama sequence.

Thanks Jim - I do the same thing with my camera on a tripod on land so why not in the air as well
