The Windows of Bodie

Here are some windows that I focused on in Bodie State Park, and incredible Ghost Town in California.

If you have window shots, please include them, photos that focus on windows are preferred.

I have 2 windows here from the same house, I will include them, and also a photo of the house they are located on.

I have a few of these. I am not going to include the buildings to keep the image count down a bit.

Ornate bay window trim that has seem better days:

The sill above the window in this one has a bit of a warp to it:

One of the nicer window displays in town that shows a lot about how the buildings have shifted through the years:

This next one caught my attention for the amazing number of nails that were used for purposes unknown on trim.

Those are nice additions Alan. That second window almost looks like hinges were added so the bottom could swing out?

The frame was probably too warped to allow the window to slide up and down any more. Life must have been pretty harsh in Bodie for the last folks who were still there as it was in it's final days.

Hey Monika, glad you could join this thread and post some images. There is no expiration date, so feel free to post shots whenever you might find them.

You have some really nice window shots, and I do like how you tried working the reflections! I will confess that I have done that also on many occasions!

Hey Doug, it happens. It is easy to miss threads.

If you want to you can still add the window photos to this thread, and there is one I had already started with doors, you could add your photos to that one. And then we can just remove that one thread you started.
