Alan, beautiful skies (and landscapes) you’ve shared—my favorites are the Harris Beach and the Coquille Beach images. They are all exceptional captures thank you for sharing!

This is the first one that came to mind - sunrise at the Jökulsárlón lagoon in Iceland. I switched to my 14mm to get as much sky as I could

3) Going wide at Lake Wanaka to grab as much of the fiery sunset at possible - sacrificing the iconic tree

Kyle, beautiful images all. I’m glad you used your 14mm for the first image—a magnificent image (and my favorite). The Milky Way and Lake Wanaka are each very beautiful images and would probably be my favorites another day. Thank you for sharing these three special skies!

Jameel, three perfect images! I like the Mt. Rainier panorama’s composition ratio of sky to landscape and love the color as well. Your “sunrise over the valley”captures an incredible sky. Very nice. The Sparks Lake is perhaps my favorite image (difficult to choose) with its beautiful sky mirrored in the lake below. Love that the image is perfectly bisected by the blue mountains and conifers. Very nice!

These are all images that I wouldn't have taken if the sky hadn't looked like it did. Ken

Ken, I’m sure glad you “looked up” and captured these lovely skies—and shared them here! Beautiful and colorful sky in the first image with the grazing sheep and lone tree beneath—very, very nice. My favorite is the last image with the rocky foreground and windswept tree with the dramatic sky beyond.

I'm a bit late to the party but have some to contribute. Saskatchewan, the province where I live has the statement "Land of Living Skies" on our license plate. It is pretty flat so lots of sky is visible most of the time.

These were all taken close to where I live. When the canola (yellow) and flax (blue) are in flower lots of people go looking for a nice composition with the flowers and the sky.
