This October Colorado had two big fires... We actually had more than two but they were our two larges in CO History. Leading to Evaluating the town of Estes Park. Nothing like what CA has gone through but for CO it was hard to watch yet, all I wanted to do is photograph them! all photos are form the Cameron Peak fire the largest in CO history. CC Welcome

#4 Coming into Estes Park... The back story on this was that the community was worried about the Cameron Peak fire seen here was going to head into Estes Park, Yet No one suspected that the East Troublesome Fire that would threaten the Town of Estes Park. Which was coming from the east through RMNP, it jumps the continental divide. I don't have any photos of the East Troublesome fire... It was one the fastest burning fires burning 14000 acres in 24hrs...a total of 188,000 acres.

Certainly makes for some dramatic images. Scary to have something like that happening in front of your lens.

Great job capturing these Alisa. #2 and 4 are my favorites with #4 being my favorite since you got some stars in it too.

Great photos. Living in Colorado, it was crazy to watch that fire blow up. My good friend had the fire go right through their property. Fortunately they hadn't built anything yet. Their neighbors house got burnt to the ground. These are great captures.
