Thanks Jim - in this case it would be more like touching a very wet sponge. This was in the midst of a week with several inches of rain.

Thanks Jameel - That background falls are a tiny part of a much larger waterfall off to the right and above this small scene. I have posted the wide view of these falls before but in this case was looking for scenes I hadn't focused on along the trail before.
