Tulip Time

I usually prefer shooting flowers in indirect light but tulips are shy and don't fully open until they get full sunshine. The yellow specimens are Akebono double flower tulips.

Thanks Jim - they are a very simple flower but I find myself attracted to them as well. Nice bold colors to herald spring's arrival.

Thanks Jameel - I keep wishing I could shoot these in shade or with cloudy skies but the blooms aren't cooperating and only open up with direct sunshine.
