Urban Elk

This is an image from a few years ago. My son and I up to the mountains to photograph some wild life. We spent all day and saw a deer walking along the highway and nothing else.
The next morning a neighbor called me to tell me there were 2 bull elk in her front yard. I grabbed my camera and 50-500mm OS lens, and ran to the corner and grabbed a few shots. No elk in the mountains 1 day and 2 elk in the front yard of a neighbors home the next. Life is funny sometimes!

Hi Alan, yes it was a funny story after a few days when I forgot about all those hours I drove around the mountains looking for critters.

Hi Jim, yes life is full of surprises. I got a shot of the other elk coming down the road toward me that looked good before I blew the image up and saw that he was trailing poop behind him!
