It's time for another round of waterfalls. Anything that depicts falling water whether its out in the wild or surrounded by concrete and shot out of a pipe is fair game.

My falls for today are a follow on to my post yesterday showing fall leaves in the lowlands at the end of Sweet Creek. I got all excited at the fall colors when I first turned onto the road heading up to the trailhead for the waterfalls section of the creek but as it turned out the maples had already dropped most of their leaves in that area of the valley. These are the falls at the top of the waterfall trail.

Pile on with whatever you have.

I really like the soft light you get with your early morning visits to these falls. I used to get up early when I was still working but that habit left the building a few years after I retired and I have to wait for cloudy days for this set of falls.

More from The birks of Aberfeldy in Perthshire Scotland. This little glen is only about 2 miles long but has hundreds of cascades and a 100ft waterfall at the end. One of these years I will manage to get my visit to coincide with peak Autumn colour and just the right water flow but I have not managed it so far. This year the water levels were down. Ken

However the low water levels allowed this

Neat looking little area that sounds similar to my favorite venue shown at the top of today's thread although the birks of Aberfeldy might be a bit longer. You might have missed peak fall colors but still have plenty of the fall mood in the scenes you have posted here with the colorful leaves adorning everything in sight. I like the light flows with the low water levels as it allows more details in the cascades.

One from Seljalandsfoss from a trip to Iceland. I absolutely hated shooting this thing, so much spray and a lot of people made it a bit of a nightmare but it was cool seeing the rainbow just hanging out.

Very neat looking display of the spray rainbow and the falls. I haven't had to wipe any of the spray off of my glasses in front of my monitor and don't see another souls there with you 😁
