Waterfall Wednesday 5/27/2026

Welcome to another Wednesday when we celebrate falling water in all of its forms. My example today is from a jaunt up to Mt. Rainier National Park last fall with a shot I grabbed late in the morning at Myrtle Falls. These falls are best described as well loved with easy access from the meadow trails above the lodge at Paradise.

Pile on with whatever shots you have showing falling water in all of its forms.

I love that early morning light you get up at those falls. This shot is nearly impossible to get on a sunny day.

Looks like there is still quite a snowpack up there which is nice for feeding this set of waterfalls. Looks like sweet conditions for keeping a camera handy.

Here is 1 from a trip to Iceland a while back, it was a rainy, cloudy day;not the best conditions for shooting this great falls. It is called the golden falls in icelandic.

That is a LOT of falling water - looks like a lot of lens wiping would be in order shooting at that location with the mist forming puddles in the rocks below your viewpoint. Neat falls.
