Wet and Misty

Last weekend we had gone to Bellingham to attend a wedding. On the way back I decided to take a detour towards North Cascades. It was rainy and wet all the way. The photography opportunities were limited to put it mildly. I did manage to grab a couple of waterfalls where the flow was quite heavy. Here is a roadside image I captured along the way.

I like the mood of this scene although given the elevation of most of the neat peaks in North Cascades most will be well up into the clouds. Nice change from what I am seeing out my window right now with nary a cloud in sight.

I like it! That's a very nice look Jameel. The Cascades is an are I have only visited a few times. So I enjoy this glimpse.

thanks Alan. The drive was nice scenery although not very conducive to photography given the pouring rain

Beautiful scenery, Jameel. Without the animals, it might seem more boring, but with the animals, this scene has a dynamic and that's why I like it.
