Spent the last few days trying to get a good macro shot of my eye. This one has a dark feel to it but it's my favorite so far. Used the healing/clone stanp to get rid of the light reflection. Manually took a sample from one area and rotated onto it. So far that's the best method I've found. Generative fill didn't really do that good of a job here.

Yup! I've also been experimenting with manual focus but with the a7r5, it's usually in focus every time.

This is the best part about taking the leap for a higher end camera system - stuff like this works for you instead of making you do all of the work. It frees you up to be creative about what you want the camera to do for you instead of slaving to get anything at all.
