Whilst in Zanzibar, there were numerous trips offered, into the forest, to try and see the endangered Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkey, Piliocolobus kirkii. For some reason, our hotel grounds were a place they frequented. This saved a pointless trip into the forest. These were the 1st monkeys I'd seen that were tolerant of humans but didn't make a nuisance of themselves.
