Also Waiting For The Conjunction

I tried to get some shots of the conjunction tonight. They all came out awful, so I thought I'd point the ole camera at the moon. I think this came out pretty good.

Awesome Brian! I did the same thing last night! Tonight (Sunday) there was too much cloud cover where I went (halfway between Greeley and Ft Morgan).

I was going to text you and see if you were going to try and do the Conjunction Brian, but it was too noisy in my jeep with the granddaughters.

Try it again Monday night, our skies are supposed to be clearer.

I saw your thread and that was why I titled my thread like I did. lol. I think I will give up on the 600mm and maybe try something with my new wide angle lens I just got. 🤞

Brian,

That's wonderful! Lovely detail and exposure. I did the same thing last night - got awful conjunction results, so I tried taking some video of the moon. I have not tried processing it yet, I am hoping for something at least usable form it, although I am doubting I will do as well as this fantastically clear result!

Thanks Mike. I appreciate. Pretty happy with how it came out. Especially being hand held.
