That is from a place where I very like it, it's a interesting place to make shots, with this beautiful church in a simple valley from my city.
The idea here it is take the full moon in left of the frame, just above the top of mountain, but I lost the opportunity to the bad weather on a day before, wen it is arise on a right point. It is take in january, 2016.

Eclipse.jpg

2015 lunar eclipse. After a very long day driving in Iceland, I walked up the hill behind the hotel for the eclipse. As I was sitting there, watching some clouds that I thought behaved an awful lot like an aurora, but they were white. They, of course, were in the opposite direction of the moon, so I had to decide if I wanted to lose the alignment for an eclipse sequence or not. I opted for the moon instead. Other people saw the green of the aurora, but I must have been in the middle of it, so couldn't see the color. That's my only guess.

Oh man Darcy, this is pretty good!

It's hard to focus blend on these, the trick is to be further away from the foreground trees you are using to frame the moon.
LOL, well thanks but it is not good bwahahah! That is why I don't shoot the moon! But maybe I will try the trick you just gave me!
