From a walk in the High Tatras.

During the weekend, my wife and I were in the High Tatras, the weather was not in our favor, still a lot of snow and cold.. next attempt in 10 days.
In the picture, a mountain ridge, height 2202 - 2432 meters, from right: the first shield is Patria, the second is Small Bastion, the third is Front Bastion, and the last fourth is Satan.

Hey Peter, sorry I was busy at Disneyland with the family yesterday. It's been a while since I had been there, so it was fun catching up on some new rides. I had posted a couple of photos from there, but it was hard for me to keep up with new posts.

I am enjoying your Tatras images, it sure looks like a great area, and reminds me a bit of Colorado here in which I had just left last week as it still has a lot of snow in the higher elevations.

I like your #2 image alot. When I viewed your #1 image, I liked the snow covered ridges in the background, but the brush in the lower right seemed a bit distracting. Then I scrolled and saw your #2 image, and that eliminated the distractions from #1. So #2 would be my choice.

It will be interesting to see what it looks like in 10 days. You will be out exploring more of the Tatras in 10 days, and myself, I think I just might be out in the desert here in California at that time. We will be at total opposites of terrain.

Thank you very much, Jim. Photo replaced by another one (with a smaller brush).
I had to gradually revise the photos of the landscape published here, I could not get used to work with the new huge 55" monitor that I started using. I am sitting in a different place, where there is a completely different light. I am getting used to the new different conditions.
I will add more photos when everything is verified and OK.
