Love the second image—good composition and visually interesting and highly detailed tree roots in contrast to the long exposure water flowing past. Very nice!

I like your shutter speed selections in both of these images. Some really nice textures and details in the falls in the first image and the satin surface with the long exposure in the second keeps me focused in the lovely exposed roots in the foreground.

If I recall correctly, that view point in #1 is really hard to show the whole turbulence of the river. Your image captures it well.

Have you considered cropping the first above the bridge to lose the sky and bring more attention to the action below?

wow, love the dynamic comp. in the first. love the movement at the bottom of the frame and the strong line of water straight up to the bridge.

I'll need to try that one, thanks Jameel. I do have one that shows more flow below but it's like a big white streak and takes away from the flow between the rocks. Thanks!
