Thanks Alan, it was a lucky catch. I was driving toward the entrance to Red Rock Park when I spotted this guy and the does just off the side of the road. I pulled the car over about 50 yards past the deer, grabbed my camera and the 50-500 mm lens and walked back to where I saw the deer. They were still there and watched me a few minutes before hopping over a 6 ft fence the trotting away.Nice catch - beautiful rack symmetry and staring right at you.
Thanks Jim, he was on a small rise next to the road. He was 8 to 10 feet above where I was standing on the road which account for the shooting angle.Wow! It's almost like you were laying on your back right underneath him! What an awesome angle here Larry!
Thanks Kevin it was a nice experience! The black line are part of the fence the tried to remove using Photoshop on my laptop computer.Great shot Larry. I presume the black lines in the sky are where you've tried to remove a fence. What did you use?
