Two regular visitors to my garden.

Male Bullfinch, Pyrrhula pyrrhula

Female Bullfinch, Pyrrhula pyrrhula

Juvenile Greenfinch, Chloris chloris in a dispute with another greenfinch about the food queue.

I'm jealous of the varieties of finches you get on your yard. Ours are not nearly as interesting in comparison.

I am guessing this is near a feeder since they all seem to be perched on the same piece of deadwood.

Like Alan I am jealous Kevin! I am hoping to get more birds to my daughters backyard. I think though that her dog and 6 kids are counterproductive to that effort.

Thanks Alan, yes it's near to a feeder. I try to change the perches but it's difficult finding interesting ones.

Thanks Jim. I must say I have a soft spot for the male Bullfinches as well. Think you'll need to find a quiet corner of your daughter's yard if you want any kind of success.
