These falls don't have a name so I guess it's just a spot with a lot of falling water that aren't waterfalls
Sweet Creek from late October.
Sweet Creek from late October.
The leaves on the rocks are gorgeous as are the series of waterfalls. Lovely place to shoot. Interesting you traveled to Scotland and met your groupie who is almost your neighborMore images from my Scotland trip late last month. Aberfeldy again, the burn bounces down in a series of cascades. There is a large waterfall about 1 mile upstream but, without ropes and abseiling down, you only catch a glimpse of it through the trees so I didn't walk up and see it but stuck to the lower parts of the glen. Most of the leaves have fallen but it does make the rocks interesting. I chatted to the photographer in the last image and found out that non only does she live about 20 miles away from me in Cumbria but she follows me on facebook, fame at last, a "groupy". Ken

I like the alignment you got with this viewpoint. Bummer about your power - the maps I saw for outages in this mornings paper looked like where you live right now.We are out of power since last night. So only have access to stuff in my Dropbox for now. Here is a view of Multnomah falls which I never posted here. Most views show a split upper and lower falls. This one lines them up. Taken early in the morning with no crowds so the bridge is without people on it.
