I watched 4 Canada Geese swoop in and land in the wetlands at Burnt Bridge Creek and apparently they desired a spot that was occupied by a small group of Northern Pintails. One of the geese made a charge at the pintails trying to look as intimidating as possible while sort of running and flying while honking madly.
Starting the charge:
Becoming slightly airborne but still honking at the pintails to get out of the way. The goose landed about 5 feet from where it is in this frame and you can see some of the pintails getting out of the way.
Needless to say the pintails moved out and the geese moved in.
C&C always welcome.
