Thanks Jim, they are one of my favorite flowers. We have Hudson Gardens south of Denver that had a bed with 150 different dahlia flowers. I shot a lot of
them over 2 summers and then a Japanese Beatle infestation killed the bed and they have not replanted the dahlia.

I think I may have captured as many as 40 to 50 of the plants. I guess I should have been more aggressive in taking images, never saw the beatle problem coming and thought I have plenty of time capture the whole bed.

Thanks Alan; I am more then ready for spring and summer, January and February have been very cold this year and the cold weather looks to be continuing into March. I'm getting a new iMac later this week, so I guess I can spend some of these cold days getting it set up and looking through some of my old files and finding some treasures to process!
