Two Mule Doe

I was at Red Rocks Park taking some sunrise shots when a small heard of mule deer came walking through the area where I was shooting. I had a long lens on the camera, but forgot I was shooting at ISO 100 in very dim light. Needless to say most of the shots had lots of motion blur. This one almost held together.

The scene is a bit soft but you did get the shot with these two. Its easy to overlook things when an opportunity like this suddenly shows up. The lead doe in this shot looks very much aware of your presence. Did they stick around or spook when they became aware of your presence?

Thanks Alan, I think they are use to people being around and were not too skittish. They just grazed and mingled around then slowly moved to a different area and did not pay much attention to me.

It's easy sometimes when something cool comes up to forget to watch our Shutter Speed as things happen so fast. I am glad you got this one.
