M81 and M82

Its been a while. 2 for one... Not bad considering they are right at 12 million light years away and taken from my driveway over the last couple nights using my SVX102, 533mc, L-Pro filter captuing a little over 11 hours of 5 min light frames.

Lot's of nice detail in this, a lot of nice detail in the rings.

In Colorado at my daughters, there has been so many clouds. Finally a few days of clear skies, but it's school break for the kids so I can't go to any of the local dark sky locations to image. This weekend at new moon I will be free, but it seems like the whole USA is under partly clouds starting Thursday for the next 7 days. I might need to look in my archives and see if I have missed anything.
