SH2-221 Redo (In Christmas Colors)

So my original post of SH2-221 had 12.5 hours of data. As an experiment, i more than doubled my data, ending up with 28.5 hours to see what would happen. (that’s 341 (5min) light frames) wew!


focal length was 334m focal ratio was 4.7. Antlia ALP_T 5nm filter and I was surrounded by neighborhood Christmas lights! lol. Quite festive being out at night.
I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
28+ hours is a 1st!

Looks quite nice to me but I don't claim to be an astrophotography connoisseur

Hey Ed, I like your 2nd image a lot! I think it's a step up from #1. The color is saturated, but I think it looks good.

And what a great environment to image in, with all of those Christmas lights around you!
