A January Sunrise

A nice January sunrise from 2024. I was playing around with processing tweaks and found this in my archive as a capture to play around with. There was a small blown out spot near the horizon I managed to repair to make the rest of the scene workable. Single frame at 166mm.

Thanks Jameel - I did post some images from later on during this sunrise but this was the first one I took after I launched the drone. It was still fairly dark at this hour.

Oh man.... before I read this I was thinking wow, what a great way to start out the new year!!! But then I saw it was 2024.

I was wrong there, but man, I won't be wrong in saying this is an awesome image, and definitely belongs in your Top 10 photos captured with your drone.

Thanks Jim - we are in between rains today and I had hopes for a nice sunrise maybe even like this one but there must be some heavy clouds east of the Cascades and it turned out to be a dud. This one was a pretty awesome sunrise and I'd love to see another one like it with the 4 Pro drone.
