The Sigma raw files do not import directly into Photoshop. The Sigma Quattro cameras can process the files as DNG files in Camera. This is an example of an in camera DNG file processed in Photoshop. I have not shot a lot of in camera DNG files, but I think I will do more in the future as it cuts out the intermediate processing steps to be able to use Photoshop directly for processing! ;)

Hey Larry, I think your shooting in DNG is the way to go. Like you said, it cuts out the middle man.

I really need to make a drive down to Bear Creek Park one of these days when I am at my daughters house. Photos like this one of yours is making this to be a must see place for me.

Yes when shooting the Quattros in the future I will shot jpeg and DNG and save the extra step in processing.

There is something like a 2 mile hiking trail along Bear Creek in the city that offers tons of shooting ops year round. However, IMO fall is the best season!
