Thank you Oliver. Luck is often a factor, but what you do with it when you have it is essential. I was fortunate to get to this place when the light was just as I wanted it. But it took a lot of research, planning, and good drone technique. This is a merge of 17 frames!

It’s Raplee Ridge then. While on a motorcycle trip through the area a few years ago, my friends and I stopped on the highway just to photograph this formation. It’s incredible.

So that's so interesting. I can't tell you how many times I had stopped near there and then wondered what was beyond it, but I was in a hurry so I would take photos of the main object and never ventured beyond it. Next time I am there though, I will venture beyond into the great unknown.
