Well, that's the name of the church, but I didn't spot any lakes near by, even though there are more than 10,000 lakes in Minnesota.

This is just a cool old church I came by while exploring. Even though I grew up in Minnesota, back then my family didn't travel, so I only knew where I lived and where my relatives lived. So it's fun to fill in the blanks with actually visiting locations that I had heard the names of growing up, but just had never visited until now.

So this old, old church gave off some creepy, Halloween vibes, so I went with that.

Lovely structure and nice BW treatment (could be a tad brighter). I know it's quite popular to do, but personally I think a better portrait of this building would not have the branches on top. And make the structure larger.

Thanks Jeffrey. I played with the brightness, but I wanted to keep the scary, creepy vibe with it.

I purposedly went vertical to get all of those branches in it, I thought they added to the spooky vibe.

But with that said, I did also capture it vertical without the branches, and also horizontal. One issue with the horizontal, is right behind it, there is like a county maintenance garage with some vehicles and stuff, so going vertical cut that out. But I do have options to play with as well.
