Our Focus this Friday is the Sun!
But to be specific, it's for Intimate Sun photographs. Not the Wide Angle photos of the sun that many of us normally take, but those time when we are using longer lenses, like Alan's favorite 100-400mm lens.
So add your Intimate Sun photographs to this thread. If you don't have any, throw on a long lens and get a shot at sunset or sunrise of the sun, or perhaps when it's being slightly diffused behind a cloud and then post it here.
I will start with one from Oceanside California as I was driving up last week from a quick run down to San Diego. There were no clouds to speak of, but as the sun lowered itself into the distant marine layer, I pulled over quickly and threw my 70-300mm onto my D850 and took a series of photos at 300mm.
