    I had a 4 day trip staying on Skokholm last week. A wonderful seabird island. So many puffin portraits I don’t know which to post. These are downloaded onto my iPhone and cropped in Instagram except the last.and processed in Instagram.

    It’s a fisheye but the sun was relatively low around 9am so on the edge of the Lens. Most importantly it is a prime Lens and as a consequence has a lot less internal elements to cause the flare

    The camera is sat on its back so you have no fine tuning on composition on Situ, you have to take the picture, Chimp and recompose

    If you are finding the editing a chore, I would think more about your end point and purpose of the work. I use my images for hand made books, book marks book covers and three dimensional work. I took an online course wiht the Toronto school of art to think about photographs in a different way...
