If you are finding the editing a chore, I would think more about your end point and purpose of the work.
I use my images for hand made books, book marks book covers and three dimensional work.
I took an online course wiht the Toronto school of art to think about photographs in a different way beyond the flat , it really gives you inspiration for your work to actually produce the work as a physical output rather than languishing on a hard drive
