The Barking Dog Scene

My buddy and I got to this preplanned spot about 6 a.m. one fall morning in Danby-Four Corners, Vt. We were standing in a field not far from a farmhouse.
Within a few minutes the resident canine began to bark and we had a decision to make...leave or go. We chose the latter. The door opened a few minutes later, we waved, he waved and the dog
stopped barking. The decision paid off. During the night there had been a slight dusting of snow that saturated the beautiful fall color. If you ever are in Vt. for the fall. This beautiful area should be a must to visit. It lies in the southwest corner of the state. Excellent a.m. and p.m. shooting. Before and at sunrise is fabulous!

I love the saturation of the trees in the foreground and the dusting of snow in the higher elevations in the scene.
