I always wondered about how objects like this made it into the slot since some of them seem like the guides may have brought them in and strategically placed them for the visitors. This one could easily have fallen into the slot from above so not as suspect as some of the ones I shot many years ago.

Thanks Jim. You are probably right about the growing part.This may be past the growing stage…but I agree it’s cool seeing images like this with some vegetation among the rock.
