This looks printworthy - outstanding lighting on the whole scene and the clouds really set this off in a big way.

My biggest issue with this image is the fact that I didn't shoot it :D

This is sure very cool Kyle! Really cool in fact. While I like the clouds and the light, what really sets this off for me is the foreground, I like that you used the trees like that in the foreground but you found a patch where you were west enough to still see a bit of the face of Half Dome. Great work.

I was just recovering from being sick, but I think I am now relapsing after seeing what I missed. :oops:

Kyle, YES, this is pretty much what I saw from Washburn Pt, a bit more oblique.
Picking up the film today
Very nicely captured. The muted colors of the valleys below & the fire in the sky!

Thank you! Were you shooting medium format at Washburn? I think I may have seen you there when we stopped by to scout.

Very nice image Kyle. I remember how, on each drive out on the GP road, I wondered if the conditions will pan out and if it is going to be worth it. But it is beautiful there under any conditions. You scored here.
