This image was something I had been planning for a while but couldn't time my visit despite the fact that this is about 3+ hours away. I finally got to it a couple of weeks ago. This is a blend of milky way shot before moon rise and the landscape after (it was about a qtr moon). The peaks are called Liberty Bell and is on the North Cascade Hwy.

C&C Welcome.

Beautiful location Jameel, this has so much potential,
if i may: the blend has some issues on the edge, the MW has a bit brownish cast, while the FG is much cooler, there is also some light bleed from the sides in the FG...

Very cool Jameel! What a very cool composition. I like what you got here.

And I like that it is a real composition. Lately on a couple of the Night Sky FB groups there have been quite a few people posting Night shots where they are just pasting the Milky Way where ever they want, and definitely not in a position where it would ever possibly be seen. I realize we add some pop and sizzle to our Milky Way shots, but when these people start pasting the Milky Way into impossible locations, then that's really too much for me.

Thanks for the critique Andrey. I plan to work on it some more.

Great composition, the MW erupting from the mountains is sweet. Agree with Andrey that it has lots of potential once you address the issues he laid out. Please post the edit.
