This has to be one of the biggest superblooms I think I have ever seen for the SW. I like the placement of the lupines in this frame.

Thanks for the nice comment, Alan. Those are not lupines and I don't know what they are. I just bought a book that should tell me what they are when it comes tomorrow.

Thanks, Jim. As I told Alan I don't know what the foreground flowers are but the darker colored purple just behind them is phacelia.

Amazing bloom this year, wish I was there to see it! Nice capture Doug. Thanks for posting, get some more before it's gone.
