Merry Christmas from Santa Fe!

A few snapshots from the Farolito Walk on Santa Fe's Canyon Road on Christmas Eve.


As usual, it was packed with people and their baby strollers and a few dogs. The rain was just starting to turn to snow, making the streets and sidewalks slippery. Nevertheless, it's a fun and relatively (for how crowded it is) occasion.

And if Christmas isn't big in your world, then Feliz Naughty-Dog!

You got some really awesome photos. I think next year I am going to try and be there to shoot this. It's so cool, and only 30 mins from my son's house so it's convenient too.

If you go, be sure to get there early, before they close the streets off, so you can park. Also, if you get there too late, the candles will have burned down & aren't nearly as bright. That'll make the exposures easier, but they aren't as eye catching.

And your son would probably be happy to have you for Christmas, too!

My favorite fancy place is Joseph's. Haven't been to Maria's in years, but it used to be a standard (& not just for the margaritas!)
