These Marsh Marigolds can be found near Whitefish Dunes State Park in WI. These plants love water and can even be found in shallow flowing streams.

Very different looking marigolds than what I am used to seeing - nice composition for these.

Thank you, Ben. Those big green leaves are from the Marsh Marigold plants. They do look a bit like hosta plants now that you mention it.

These plants can fill a woodland floodplain for great distances, Jim. It is spectacular when they do. This is just a small sample of how expansive they can be.
